About the Team

The Business Security team is a Quality and Automation team for the Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) of TikTok provides high quality and stability of projects and products. Our mission is to protect TikTok users, and secure platform health and authenticity of community experience. In this role, team members have the opportunity to validate, automate, develop, and manage the complex challenges of scale with their expertise in large-scale systems. Responsibilities：

- Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing functionality testing for mobile applications (iOS/Android/web) and the service of applications;

- Responsible for designing test plans for new features and regression test cases;

- Work on project management, risk management, and process management tasks;

- Support implementing test tools and collaborate with automation/performance test teams to build up internal tools/frameworks/platforms to make the team more productive;

- Track defects and manage bugs during the whole software development cycle.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing test plans, test frameworks, test tools, leading QA projects and initiatives

- Ability to work on manual testing and automation testing

- Familiar with the usage of common storage/message queue

- Solid in-depth knowledge of QA methodology and tools

- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Python/Golang/Java/C++)

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams

- Must be ambitious, a critical thinker, and have a strong ability to solve issues

Preferred Qualification:

- Experience in testing mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms

- Experience in API automation testing, including working experience with test automation frameworks

- Experience in programmatically testing products, measuring test coverage, developing the best automation, driving testability, and promoting best practices in quality areas

Job Information:

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $150400 - $266000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
