Position : Registered Nurse 6 E Surgical Short Stay
Pay : Based on experience, estimated range $29.25 - $59.74; Shift Differentials: PM $3.50/hr, Nights $5/hr, Weekends $10/hr
Shift : Rotating day/evening/night shifts; Weekends/Holiday: Rotating weekend and preassigned holiday rotation.
About the Unit:
Team environment on this unit which has a plan to care for patients with a Road to Recovery programing promoting quality care in a safe manner.
Patient Population: Short stay, med/surg on 31 bed unit.
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5/6
Specialize in the care of the 24 hour stay surgical patient. The patient population is general surgery and post-interventional radiology recovery for renal biopsy recovery and uterine embolization.
Patients in this unit may be recovering from many different types of surgery including but not limited to thyroidectomy, appendectomy, lumbar/cervical laminectomy and hernia repair.
