Description
Mittera is currently seeking a Customer Care Assistant to join our team! The Customer Care Assistant provides support to the Sales and Customer Care Teams; has administrative responsibilities including answering incoming phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate person, maintaining reports, and assisting teams with various projects. This position offers a good training opportunity for future roles in Print-focused Customer Care and/or Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Good interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly, service-orientated demeanor toward both internal and external customers.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with staff, customers, visitors, and vendors. Strong word processing and data entry skills.
Good math and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to help identify solutions for new projects/inquiries
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to use Microsoft products, Monarch, and other software.
Good attention to detail. Must act and perform duties with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities High School degree or equivalent required; Associate Degree or certificate in business or related field preferred
1 - 3+ years of relevant experience required
Must be well organized, able to respond quickly to changing situations
Must be organized and have the ability to plan, prioritize and follow through on projects assigned with minimal supervision required
Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization, clients, and outside vendors
Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft products
Detail-oriented; excels in problem identification and resolution
Able to work through customer demands and shifting priorities
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must have the ability to work effectively in stressful situations and meet stringent deadlines
Ability to use basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurements and critical thinking, to solve practical problems
Able to work non-traditional hours (as needed)
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination.
Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
