Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Radiology Department at our Baptist Beaches facility in Jacksonville Beach, FL . The primary responsibility of our Radiology Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:
Performs general diagnostic, operative, and emergency room procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
Reports to Lead Technologist on shift.
Promotes good will amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Education Required Vocational School
Education Preferred Associate's Degree
Experience None Customer Service Experience
None Radiology/Imaging Experience
None Experience working in a hospital setting
License and Certification Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
