JOB SUMMARY
Plans and carries out policies relating to health, safety, environmental and security phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or team activities. This position is primarily responsible for 5S procedures which consist of maintaining a clean workspace for Toyotetsu.
Shift: Monday through Friday 12:30pm - 9:15pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(Primary duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:)
Maintain 5S processes as outlined by EHSS Manager
Performs janitorial needs for the shift based on routines established by EHSS Management and current state of facilities.
Follow through with safety and environmental policies and procedures to assure legal compliance for EPA, OSHA.
Coordinate with EHSS team to fulfill daily janitorial requirements of plant.
Maintain established standards of stocking of facility with paper towels napkins soap and hygiene products.
Contribute to company’s ISO 14001 program.
Perform janitorial projects as outlined by EHSS manager.
Must be flexible and able to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish TTTX Goals & Objectives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Two (2) + years related experience and high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of both.
Technical Competencies
Knowledgeable about machines and equipment standard in janitorial processes. Experienced and capable of the operation of general janitorial machines including but not limited to floor scrubbers, vacuums and sprayers.
Safety practices and working knowledge of use of chemicals, handling and storge.
