You will also have the responsibility of direct client enagement and management, functioning as the liaison with the client and multi-disciplinary project teams. Major duties and responsibilities include:
Responsible for managing and delivering quality civil transportation projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client
Lead and attend technical project coordination meetings
Perform engineering design tasks for transportation and transit related projects from preliminary to final design
Design development in accordance with the Scope of Work and local, state and federal criteria and requirements
Demonstrated understanding of design criteria and requirements of local jurisdictions such as; Los Angeles Metro, City of Los Angeles, Caltrans and federal Railroad Standards.
Actively manage task budgets and schedules
Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
Have strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years progressive engineering experience possessing a broad knowledge and experience in civil design in the areas of transportation, transit and/or rail preferred
In-depth familiarity with Micro Station and AutoCAD with experience with Civil 3D desired
