Job Summary:
As the Director of Finance at The Redstone Group you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll, benefits administration, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, including wage calculations, deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax regulations, wage laws, and company policies.
Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve any payroll-related issues promptly.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Coordinate with insurance providers and ensure timely enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Educate employees on benefits options and assist with inquiries related to benefits packages.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Monitor financial performance against budgetary targets and provide insights to senior management.
Generate financial forecasts and participate in strategic financial planning initiatives.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.
Implement cash management strategies, including forecasting cash requirements and managing banking relationships.
Manage Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and Employee Expense reporting and processing.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as labor laws related to payroll and benefits.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles, preferably in a small to mid-size company setting.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.
Proficiency in financial software and systems along with CRM programs to analyze data and generate reports.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data to drive decision-making.
Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels and present financial information effectively.
Strong understanding of payroll software and financial systems
Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements related to payroll and benefits.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs in a dynamic work environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
