Director, Product Marketing

We are looking for our first Director, Product Marketing with a dedication to simplicity and storytelling to join our Rockbot team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish and lay the foundation for the product marketing function – from customer journey mapping, positioning, competitive analysis, and sales enablement to go-to-market strategy and lifecycle marketing.

This is a highly visible cross-functional role where you will have the opportunity to work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support. You'll oversee the production of sales collateral and training materials, case study creation, and the product marketing content calendar. You're a strategic thinker and enjoy team collaboration!

You will:

Own the end-to-end GTM strategy and execution for Rockbot's product suite: Music, TV, Digital Signage, and Advertising

Create and deliver thought leadership content for digital campaigns and demand-generation programs

Map the competitive landscape & markets, and position Rockbot's products within them including overall value proposition, features, functionality, verticals, and use cases

Educate our sales team on products & features and create sales tools & collateral to help them win new business and grow existing accounts

Create powerful product positioning and clear messaging for our website, presentations, events, and communications programs

Be the in-house expert on Rockbot products, personas, customer needs, and buying practices

You have:

10+ years of product marketing experience for an enterprise-focused company (B2B SaaS marketing, subscription-based models, and/or streaming media experience preferred)

You're an amazing storyteller! You have exceptional writing and communication skills, along with a keen eye for captivating design. You're a pro at taking loads of information and simplifying it into clear and engaging messages that resonate with different target audiences.

You're the type of marketer who combines data-driven insights with intuition and customer research. You use this winning combination to develop strategies, measure outcomes, and make informed decisions that truly connect with our audience.

You're a go-getter, always ready to take action! In a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, you thrive on being a self-starter who can juggle it all. You don't just talk the talk; you walk the walk.

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $170 to $200, plus equity, and benefits for all team members.
