As a key member of our Test Engineering team, you will oversee the establishment and management of testing environments in software development projects. You will also ensure that the test environments align with testing requirements, remain available, and remain stable for use by the testing team. In addition, you are accountable for identifying and resolving issues with test environments, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of environments, and managing test data effectively.

Your Responsibilities
Develop process to track test environments required for QA
Create short-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development
Coordinate activities of release engineers to automate the setup and configuration of test environments
Monitor and guarantee uptime of test environments
Provide ongoing support for test environments
Communicate test environment availability to project management and quality assurance
Develop KPIs to track efficacy of test environment delivery efforts
Resolve conflicts between teams competing for limited testing resources
Move test environment activities toward a goal of 100% automation
Provide estimates for onboarding of new projects to test environments
Design systems to support continuous delivery and adapt test environment management to support on-demand, self-service automation
Forecast environment requirements based on anticipated future demand from multiple application development teams
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
At least 4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance
Software testing experience in web-based platforms, and web services
Can interpret system design and architecture

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Test Engineering Manager. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

As our Test Engineer 3, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 3 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days.
