We are looking for aninnovative leader with strategic thinking and project leadership experience tojoin our leadership team.
The Director, Special Projects will be an ambitious and results drivenleader who will act as a business partner and liaison between PRISM,Operations, Information Technology (IT) and key clinical and businessstakeholders.This role shapes business strategy, aligns capabilities anddelivers quality solutions to meet goals and achieve successful outcomes forthe Village. This leader will report to the Senior Director, OperationsExcellence and support projects and initiatives across the portfolio,including multi-year strategy, operating mechanism development anddeployment, and Procurement technology.
Responsibilities:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectationsof this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.- Understand, assess, prioritize and validate business demands andrequirements through direct interaction with business stakeholders andproactive analysis for opportunities to standardized, save cost and meetbusiness needs- Collaborate with corporate (Atlas) and field leaders to develop andimplement forward-thinking improvements that advance DaVita's ability tooptimize our supply management capabilities and visibility in order to reducerisk to our patients, teammates and enterprise- Monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and preparepresentations for senior management- Align business group and Village needs and the impact on business processesto establish to strategic priorities-Act as 'general athlete' to support projects / initiatives across theProcurement portfolio- Directly support the VP of Procurement on executive special projects,content development, and project phasing- Prepare and present meaningful updates to senior leadership- Ability to identify gaps and connect the dots across siloed organization- Travel required up to 10%
Qualifications:- 10+ years of strategy development and / or project execution- Experience as a Director or Manager Experience with procurement,supply-chain, strategic sourcing, project management preferred
