The Veeam VP, Investor Relations will report to the CFO. This role will serve as the primary contact within Veeam to our internal and external investors. This role will serve across the Company’s functional groups to create and maintain a strategic and operating narrative to succinctly explain our business strategy and business model to existing and prospective investors. This role should understand the valuation dynamics of the Data Protection and Data Security industry in order to position our business in the most favorable light given market valuation dynamics. This role will handle inbound queries from investors. This role will work with the Company’s investment bankers to help establish our strategic and business narrative through financial filings like an S-1. This role will establish relationships with top tier sell side analysts’ covering the data infrastructure and data protection market. Helping these analysts understand our business and influencing positive coverage. This role will also establish a worldwide coverage strategy, including organizing non-deal roadshows and other testing the waters (TTW) processes under SEC guidelines to generate investor demand.
Responsibilities
Create a strategic narrative covering GTM differentiation, Product/technology thought leadership and differentiation, business model transition as part of a Private Placement stock offering to new prospective shareholders. Participate in Private Placement due diligence and Corporate Overview sessions as part of our effort to generate investor demand.
Partner with our Investment Bank partners in the creation of corporate strategy and due diligence content deep dives.
Participate to tell the Corporate strategy and business model narrative to interested stakeholders, including Investment bank partners, sell side analysts, prospective investors.
Create investor tracks at internal Veeam events such as VeeamOn, Customer Advisory Council, Gartner Magic Quadrant, Analyst Summit – to walk interested stakeholders through fulsome narrative around Veeam (Corporate overview, technical/product moat, GTM differentiation, Business model transition) to help stakeholders understand Veeam for their respective interests.
Build a book of influential sell side analysts for the Data Protection and Data Security industry. Help educate these analysts include walk through the detailed financial model to initiative positive coverage of Veeam.
Participate in S-1, including creating content for the pitchbook and participate in investor meetings in IPO roadshow.
Create internal investor relations website and function to handle inbound investor interest and communications.
Requirements The position requires experience with the following skills and characteristics:
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Business equivalent
10 plus years corporate investor relations experience, preferably technology and software industry
Experience in IPO processes
Software industry experience highly preferred
Well organized, goal oriented (motivated)
Able to work at a fast pace and prioritize competing projects (focused)
Ability to develop new processes, systems, and models
Proactive team player (collaboration and sharing), strong communication and story telling skills
Strong attention to detail

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$312,100 — $445,800 USD
