Mondragon Assembly USA, is a commercial, engineering and service office that was established in 2021. Mondragon Assembly USA is part of Mondragon Assembly Group which is an international group specialized in the development of automation and assembly solutions for industrial components.
We group our knowledge into three business areas: Solar Systems, E-Mobility & Energy Storage, and Automation. The Automation business unit includes developing projects for automotive, electrical components, medical, household appliances, and cosmetics markets.
Our main activities in each of these business units include developing turnkey lines and machines and contract manufacturing, offering solutions anywhere in the world with our six production plants and three technical and sale offices.
The US-based Assembly Technician will ensure machine assembly, commissioning, set-up, and proper performance by the project scope. They will provide the required technical support, guided by the values of Mondragon Assembly, optimizing the available resources autonomously and responsibly. General tasks include, but are not limited to:
Planning assembly objectives defined in follow-up meetings.
Ensuring assembly is carried out according to the established procedure.
Complying with the planned schedule.
Achieving project objectives related to pre-assembly, assembly, pneumatic and electrical installation, and commissioning.
Timely customer relations and support.

Requirements Associate/Apprenticeship or Technical Degree in Mechatronics or Machine Building
Hands on machine building experience will be considered.
General Machine-tools operation.
Lathe, milling machine and CNC experience.
Able to read, understand and update manufacturing drawings.
Knowledge about pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
Ability to read, understand and update pneumatic and hydraulic drawings preferred.
Experience in executing electrical installations.
Ability to read, understand and update electrical drawings preferred.
Proficient in MS Office software.
Experience working with on-line platforms to track action plans.
General experience in Automation Systems.
Knowledge of Solidworks will be considered.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Highly motivated, self-starter, confident, and able to work independently.
