Department Overview
At Salesforce, customer success is paramount. Our Success Plans play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers’s success with Salesforce products. The Customer Success Group’s (CSG) product management team is responsible for Salesforce’s Success Plan offer portfolio with which we enable our customers to realize value from Salesforce. We work backward from the customer to address their needs across small business, commercial, and enterprise segments. The team works across all functions in CSG (including Sales, Delivery, Marketing, and Operations) and with Salesforce Product and Sales organizations.
Position Overview
Customer having expertise in Salesforce products is foundational to their success. And we enable our customers to develop this expertise via access to learning available through Success Plans. We are looking for a Director or Senior Director of Product Management to own this education portfolio within all Success Plans. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in developing and managing an education portfolio tailored to meet the unique education and training needs of all Salesforce customers. Your focus will be on optimizing the value our customers derive from our products by ensuring they have access to cutting-edge education and training features.
Responsibilities
Define and own an innovative product strategy for the Education Portfolio, aligned with the broader Salesforce vision.
Define and own the multi-year product roadmap to pay off the strategy.
Own the customer experience to encourage learning, making it fun and engaging.
Have a deep understanding of customers’ unique learning and serve as the voice of the customer.
Collaborate with product management colleagues to integrate educational features seamlessly into Success Plans.
Partner with Success Plan product management colleagues to define features to include in each Success Plan.
Work closely with delivery, sales, and marketing teams to bring products to market.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Ensure customers derive maximum education and training value via the right Success Plan features.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of product management experience in the Education and Training space in high-tech, particularly in SaaS, Software, or Cloud companies.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams toward shared objectives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem and knowledge of the Salesforce portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,000 to $267,400.
For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $15,900 to $294,100.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $320,800.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
