The Senior Project Architect, a licensed professional with extensive experience in mid-to-large scale projects, will play a pivotal role in delivering successful design outcomes within budget and schedule. This individual will balance technical requirements with design vision, taking ownership of project development and execution. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be key to maximizing available resources and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop projects of medium to large scope, overseeing team assignments
Drive novel concepts and methods in project development
Translate design intent into detailed documentation, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the process
Monitor design progress from conceptual phase through construction administration
Communicate scope, schedule, and budget requirements effectively
Coordinate technical drawings and specifications
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders
Direct and mentor project teams, fostering professional development
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
Participate in business development opportunities as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
Professional license required
Environmental accreditation preferred
15+ years of experience managing architectural projects
Proficiency in Revit required, AutoCAD and 3D modeling software skills a plus
Strong knowledge of architectural building systems, codes, and construction methodology
Client management and negotiation experience
Effective project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Willingness to travel
