As the Accounting Manager, you will be a key team member playing a pivotal role in formulating the company's financial direction and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for managing capital requests, budgeting processes, and developing performance measures that align with the company's strategic vision. Focus:
Lead the implementation of strategic business plans and financial tax strategies.
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes, developing key financial measures.
Conduct annual audits and develop and refine comprehensive annual budgets and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.
Coordinate with management and external CPA firms on annual audits.
Implement best practices in operational management.
Oversee employee benefit plans and acquisition due diligence.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining effective insurance coverage.
Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, bankers, and investors.
Monitor cash balances and forecasts, participating in conference calls with the investment community.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
CPA certification is required.
7+ years of progressive experience in financial roles, with a minimum of 3 years focused in public accounting.
Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar financial systems.
Strong leadership qualities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Demonstrated expertise in financial management, planning, and strategy.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
