The Position

A D+H Human Resources Manager leads the Human Resources function for the company overseeing all aspects of HR, including:

Recruiting and onboarding employees

Administering pay, benefits, and leaves of absence

Facilitating performance evaluations

Enforcing company policies and practices

Managing employee relations

Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Partnering with senior leadership on Human Resources strategy

What’s Required by You

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment and thrives on developing talent and fostering a strong organizational culture. You will have/be:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification, highly desirable.

5+ years of progressive HR Manager or Business Partner related experience, Construction industry experience preferred.

A strong understanding of employment law.

Energetic and resourceful with a strong service orientation.

A demonstrated ability to take initiative andmanage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work at the Berkeley office full-time. No relocation assistance will be offered.
