Your Mission

We're looking for new members of our Enterprise - Customer Account Management (CAM) team. This role involves activating and onboarding new customers, finding and securing expansion opportunities, and facilitating renewals across our largest customers.

CAMs at Census have a passion for technical resolutions to business problems. Given the breadth of Census’s impact on an organization, our team regularly engages in very technical conversations with engineering leadership and simultaneously works with marketing, sales, support, and other areas of a business to help them resolve their data issues. Our team is curious, works hard, stays organized, is trusted and accountable, communicates and collaborates, and has fun doing it all.

Your Responsibilities

Assist new and existing customers onboard successfully and realize value

Advise on how to best utilize the platform and implement project plans to guide that use

Collaborate with existing customer users and prospects at customer organizations to explore and adopt new use cases

Ensure the business understands the needs of our customers and is working to meet them

Maintain close relationships with our customers and ensure they are not only satisfied, but advocating for Census

Collaborate closely with our Customer Data Architect team to handle technical challenges our customers face

Negotiate and close upsells, cross-sells, and renewals with our existing customers

Report directly to the VP of Revenue and collaborate on new customer and sales initiatives to help the team

Stay organized in your customer relationships and expansion opportunities by utilizing our CRM and sales engagement stack, and contribute back to improving it

Collaborate with enablement, management, and leadership to hone your customer engagement and sales skills and provide internal feedback to help improve your team and future hires

Develop strong sales and product knowledge to create, educate, and qualify Data and Operations teams about Census and the modern data stack.

We believe that excellence knows no singular form or strength, high potential and capability manifest in diverse and varied ways. Here's some of the skillsets we're looking for:

Bachelor's Degree

4+ years of prior experience in a role focused on expanding customers. This could be as a Growth Account Executive, Account Manager, or Customer Success Manager, preferably from a SaaS technology company and ideally with technical personas involved in the sale

Strong organizational skills and business acumen and the desire to dig deeply with customers and help them realize their goals

Strong existing sales skills (sales methodology, processes, and negotiation skills) as well as a desire and aptitude to quickly learn

Intellectual curiosity with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts.

Ambitious self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and building from the ground up.

High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.

Report to our Denver or NYC office 3 days per week

Compensation

On-Target Earnings $180,000 - $220,000 OTE
