Director of Communications

LHH is currently recruiting for a Director of Communications for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Fort Worth, TX area. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of communications experience and have a proven background developing corporate communications strategies. This is an onsite position at our client’s office in the Fort Worth area.
Responsibilities:
internal communications strategy including but not limited to leadership communications, employee engagement, and operational communications
and improve company intranet operations and strategy
crisis communications strategies
cross functionally to drive employee engagement
updated on industry best practices to ensure the business maintains a competitive edge
and lead a team of communications and creative employees
external communications including but not limited to public relations, media relations, press releases, and more
and collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed
Qualifications:
10 years of communications experience
degree in communications, marketing, or related field
3 years of team leadership experience
experience developing both internal and external communications strategies in a corporate setting
