Sr PACS Analyst

We have an immediate need for a long-term Sr PACS Analyst with the following experience. This will be for contract UW 17-0050.
Sr level PACS Imaging experience with any PACS vendor
Sr level experience with systems administration and analysis
Sr level experience with application/system configuration and implementation of radiology systems (and/or healthcare applications)
Proficient with DICOM standards
Strong knowledge of database structures, data definitions and data relationships
Strong knowledge of all phases of software development or lifecycle for vendor supplied software
Previous experience with 3rd Party Radiology software vendors
Familiar with various operating systems like Microsoft Windows, Redhat Linux, or IBM AIX for systems administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance-related scripts, with ability to offer enterprise level production support
Experience supporting high-availability, Enterprise-wide systems such as PACS
Experience translating complex business requirements into design specifications, articulate alternatives, follow technical change control processes, and maintain workflow and technical implementation documentation.
Experience serving as subject matter expert for large scale enterprise customers, both internal and external
Experience walking clients through the use of systems, preferably in a healthcare environment
Preference will be given to candidates who also poses the following: An understanding of radiology/clinical operations, workflow, policies, and procedures
Experience with operational workflow design of clinical software
Experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Proficient with image routing and acquisition
Experience with the following database platforms: Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows scripting tools, utilities and languages
Experience with relational database systems administration and programming experience in a distributed networked client/server environment
The PACS Analyst will provide the following support for the IT Services Radiology team: Serve as the primary resource for hands-on system clinical and technical activities/issues/requests
Administer, integrate, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot PACS
Communicate clinical and technical PACS issues to customers
Perform end-to-end system testing, resolution, and optimization, when needed
Lead end-user training, as needed
Enforce PACS policies and guidelines
Diagnose workstation troubleshooting/replacement
Design, build, test and implement enhancements to meet functional requirements
Provide production support and ongoing system troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and training
Manage projects, processes and documentation to support customer needs
Provide advanced-level user support to physicians and technologists in all UW Medicine facilities
