We're part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states-and growing. -We are currently looking for a Director of Finance who will serve as the Chief Financial Officer of Riderwood Village, our largest continuing care retirement community located in Silver Spring, Maryland and home to over 2,000 residents. We are part of Erickson Senior Living, one of the largest and fastest growing senior living managers and developers in the nation with communities in 11 different states. -This position became available due to a person transferring to one of our brand new communities.The Director of Finance serves as an executive leader at the community, which is home to nearly 1,000 employees. - As a member of the executive team, you will not only be the financial leader, but you will also play a critical role in driving culture, resident satisfaction, and employee engagement. -As the financial leader, you will review monthly financial statements and related management reporting to effectively highlight critical issues, risks (including business and enterprise risks), trends, and opportunities. Review the final financial statements for management and external reporting. Approve salary adjustments for all department personnel. Ensure wage guidelines are appropriately followed. Facilitate the process for generating a logical and meaningful business plan and quarterly updates.
