Network Engineer

Works with senior Network Engineers to configure, install and maintain the Kootenai Health enterprise network infrastructure, predominantly Cisco, and troubleshoots network performance issues with progressive technical skill levels across multiple enterprise network technologies.
Responsibilities:
Tests and evaluates current procedures, working with senior Network Engineers to implement solutions
Able to complete more advanced project and task work, without guidance
Works with senior team members to develop technical skill sets through troubleshooting increasingly complex issues
Performs other related duties as assigned
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or Vocational/ Technical diploma with emphasis in Information Science or related discipline degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 6 years of network experience
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs
Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height
Must be able to maintain a sitting position

Salary Range: $97,155 to $114,300
