Regional Sales Manager

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a remote Regional Sales Manager! The role has 75% travel in KS, OK, AR, TX, and MO. You you can be based in any of those states.
In this role, you will sell stamping presses. These presses are used to make Tesla's, automative parts, bakery equipment, garage door openers, HVAC coils, toaster ovens, medical devices and more.
We are looking for someone with stamping press experience, either selling or working in a machine tool environment (CNC machines, equipment, fabrication, lathes, perishable tools, etc). If you have worked in that environment and want to get into sales, we will train the right candidate. No degree required, just life experience.
You will work side by side learning from the National Sales Manager to sell direct to customers.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategy to meet company sales goals.
Develop and maintain Distributor Network in the sales territory.
Manage sales performance within company profitability requirements.
Build trust, credibility, and relationships with all customers and distributors.
Demonstrate excellent follow up skills, attention to details, and proactive approach in all sales activity.
Manage the sales activities to customers, directly and/or through distribution.
Hire new distributors as necessary in specified sales territory as well as train and maintain sales ability of these distributor sales staff.
Make regular sales calls/visits with distributors and coordinate demonstrations
Qualifications/Requirements
Able to travel up to 75%
2+ years of experience in the manufacturing/CNC/Fabrication industry
Excellent communication skills, experience in giving PowerPoint presentations to a group, managing a sales distribution network.
Experience with Goldmine, ACT, CRM a plus
Experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and passport will be required
Must not have any travel restrictions via ground or air transportation in NAFTA.
