Summary of Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales and design team in project development process. Assess existing site conditions at Check and Measure appointment. Attend Pre-Design meetings to establish design and budget parameters. Develop detailed project scope, final pricing, and professional construction documents. Maintain accurate job cost reports and pricing database. Trade and vendor relations to develop a streamlined bid process and maintain optimal pricing for products and services.
Essential Functions
Staff Meetings
On-site meetings/Check & Measurement site visits
Office work/reviewing cost reports
Updating/working on various estimates
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
5+ years’ experience in Construction
Preferably 2+ years in Estimating
Other experience areas which would be suitable for the Estimator position: Architecture, Project Management, Lead Carpentry, or previous ownership of a Construction company.
Compensation
$60,000-$75,000 yearly salary, plus Profit Share
