Role Overview

The Global E-commerce team is looking for an experienced, analytically inclined Business Analyst PM to deepen understanding of on-going businesses and explore further areas for management and growth opportunities. This individual will be instrumental in providing insight during the entire business management process- including recommending measurable and realistic goals in the planning phases and continually monitoring and providing improvements throughout. This role will require navigating data among vastly different businesses so deep understanding is key and precision is the most basic requirement to being successful. Ideal candidates will be masterful at translating business jargon into quantitative values and using the latter to communicate to cross-functional teams to guide business decisions and direction.

Responsibilities:

Analyze retail data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the market.

Utilize Python to develop predictive models and automate data processes.

Familiar with Power BI.

Create and manage SQL databases for optimal data storage and quick retrieval.

Own projects involving selected organization.

Coordinating with cross-functional teams, and communicating with internal and external parties.

Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes.

Design compelling visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to communicate insights to stakeholders.

Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement data-driven strategies.

Monitor the effectiveness of business strategies and provide data-backed evaluations.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and departmental use.

Stay abreast of advancements in analytics and retail technologies, recommending upgrades and new systems as necessary.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Python, with experience in data analysis and model building.

Strong SQL skills for complex queries, database management, and performance tuning.

Expertise in Tableau for creating visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate analytical insights.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey insights to a non-technical audience.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in program management or analysis, preferably in a retail environment.

Familiarity with retail industry metrics and KPIs.

Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.

Pay & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $163,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
