Job Description Job Description Way Mechanical, Ltd is one of the nation’s largest and most experienced mechanical contractors, specializing in the design/build of commercial air conditioning, plumbing/piping, energy retrofits, and the maintenance of these systems. The Service Business Development Manager will provide companywide business development leadership. This role will coordinate between multiple offices for business development opportunities while achieving strategic goals. Responsibilities: Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
Attend trade shows and other associations’ meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, and competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects
Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the Way Mechanical management team
Create a strategic plan, initiatives, target account list, and expectations for the year to ensure alignment with Way Mechanical, strategy, and goals
Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with Way Mechanical, team, and senior management team
Establish relationships with each market office to coordinate and execute a strategic plan
Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations
Provide leadership and mentorship for sales staff throughout the company
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business)
Business knowledge of the Mechanical or Construction industry
Technical sales experience (prefer 3+ years’ experience) in the construction industry or related to it with a successful track record
