Cloud Security
Product Security
Detection & Response
What attributes we would like to see.
Security: You will have the mindset of both a defender and attacker. You will be able to build a defensive capability by understanding the offensive techniques attackers use. You may have an incident response background with involvement in threat hunting, threat detection or security operations. You could also come from an offensive position like a penetration tester with a background in red teaming, product security assessments, threat modelling and security design.
The key is being able to understand attack methodologies and then build tools and processes to prevent them.
Programming: You will have strong programming and software development skills. This could be in Python, C, C++, Bash, Go, Golang etc. You will be building secure tools so must be able to design and execute creative solutions.
Mindset: You should have a start-up DNA. This is the ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving environment. Prior experience working in high growth technology firms will be a bonus, but a passion for technology and building secure systems is the priority.
Cloud: It will be a bonus if you have GCP/Azure experience and exposure to Kubernetes.
Location: Onsite 3 days a week minimum in Financial District, San Francisco,
