Compensation: $70,000 - $76,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Greater Nashville Area
OVERVIEW: Cyber Security Analyst
We are searching for a Cyber Security Analyst to join an IT team that supports an industry-leading organization. The ideal candidate would be in search of a platform to grow and advance in their career as a cyber security professional. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience and the desire to be a key member of a team transforming Cyber Security for an industry-leading company. If you have experience leading projects at a large scale, great, however it is not required to be a contributor day one.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Cyber Security Analyst
Associate's Degree or additional relative years of experience
Experience or education in Application Development
2+ years of experience in Information Security at a medium/large size organization
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cyber Security Analyst Understanding of business IT needs/requirements and emerging technologies with the ability to relate them to the company' business objectives
Experience with Enterprise-grade Antivirus products
Experience with Log aggregation or SIEM tools
Experience with Internet filter software for client platforms/devices
Experience with Email filtering and security platforms
Experience with VPN software
Experience with encryption for end user devices
Experience supporting Executive leaders and Management level associates directly
Experience using Enterprise ticketing systems
Experience with security for ICS or SCADA
Experience with EDR
Experience with Web Proxy
Experience troubleshooting Windows and MAC systems
RESPONSIBILITIES: Cyber Security Analyst Monitor security tools and reports indicators of compromise.
Work with other Analysts and Engineers to investigate security events.
Review and maintains process/procedural documentation.
Review logs/alerts and performs tasks on security systems and applications.
Perform User Account Management tasks including on-boarding / off-boarding of users and managing accounts.
Perform daily reporting of security relevant events to leadership.
Troubleshoot access issues and answers general inquiries regarding information security practices or security access.
Interface with Security management and staff to identify potential risks. Collaborate with other team members on strategic direction, technologies, concepts and standards.
Follow established processes and procedures to ensure compliance with policy. Reports all suspicious activity or non-compliant access to management.
Provide daily customer support to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and maintains good relationships with other teams, system owners, business units, and users. Ensures communication is customer focused and professional.
Perform ad-hoc reporting in support of various initiatives. Maintain individual records for departmental metric reporting and compiles metric reporting data as necessary.
