About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead and oversee the HR strategy for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the HR strategy aligns with the business's mission, vision, and core values. This role involves implementing HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with employment laws and best practices, as well as leading efforts in recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, and corporate wellness. The Head of HR will also be a key player in supporting the company's diversity, equity, and belonging strategy, working closely with the DEB champion and council.Applicants for the Head of Human Resources position at the company should have in-depth HR knowledge, including a strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and benefit practices. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to work closely with senior management in formulating and executing HR policy decisions. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role requires a candidate who is organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive, with a proven track record of implementing HR strategies and new ideas. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a graduate degree and HR certification, and experience in a financial or professional service firm is also preferred.
