We are seeking a System Software engineer to interface with our DNA based storage system software.
In this role, you will: Drive technical projects that involve bringing together firmware and hardware into fully functional subsystems and prototype devices
Lead the development of control algorithms, optical controls, and calibration procedures for hardware-based biological devices
Collaborate with the hardware, molecular biology, and software teams to develop scalable software architecture and automation tools
Writing software for data acquisition, retrieval, and processing
Evaluate and improve performance of the DNA based storage system software
Write C# code that is high quality, well tested, and ready for production
Contribute to peer-reviewed articles and patents that communicate CATALOG’s vision and protect its IP

Excellent knowledge of python, C/C++, C#/Java
Knowledge of microcontroller architectures
BS in Computer Science, Computer, Electrical, or related engineering field (Advanced degrees a plus)
