Position Overview
The Director Account Management will oversee client relationships and contracts for the company’s Government Solutions Business Unit, reporting to the Senior Vice President Global Account Management. The position requires a strategic approach to building stakeholder relationships, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and achieving company financial and growth objectives. The position includes the direct management of account manager(s) and client support specialists. The Director Account Management will drive staff engagement to deliver on key targets and priorities, while mentoring and developing the team to ensure a positive culture and the highest standards of business and customer excellence.
Essential Responsibilities
Build strong customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction, contract renewals and expansions.
Ensure compliance with contractual scopes of work and service levels.
Achieve financial performance for responsible contracts consistent with the company’s Annual Operating Plan, including revenue, margin and cash flow objectives.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for responsible contracts.
Directly manage account manager(s) and client support specialist(s).
Work closely with the company’s global Bid & Proposal, Pricing and Sales teams to ensure high quality and successful proposal submissions.
Collaborate with the company’s Operations, Product, Engineering and IT functions to ensure effective service delivery and issue resolution.
Represent the company at regular and emergent client meetings.
Participate as required at program, industry and trade functions.
Qualifications
Minimum 5-10 years of experience managing large government contracts, preferably in Transportation or related industry
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Leadership experience managing and motivating a team of Account Managers
