Specialized experience is an In-depth or broad knowledge of body of accounting procedures and techniques to understand and work with a total accounting system which involves different programs that generate a large variety of transactions
Knowledge of extensive and diverse accounting regulations, operations, and procedures governing a wide variety of types of related transactions to resolve nonstandard transactions, complaints, or discrepancies; provide advice; or perform other work that requires authoritative procedural knowledge
EDUCATION: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Some of specialized experience described in the job opportunity announcement and some higher-level graduate education; therefore, I have a combination of experience and education
One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level

Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to perform duties as senior Enlisted College Loan Repayment Program (ECLRP) technician in resolving complex problems, developing, and revising ECLRP procedures, and providing liaison functions between base organizations and the Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS)

• Analyzes and examines accounting data and accounts to resolve complex, nonstandard transactions, complaints or discrepancies.
• Prepares reports and performs or oversees other miscellaneous technical tasks in support of the accounting function.
