What You’ll Do
Chart out new ways for consumers to understand their health risks and improve outcomes
Improve consumer access to high-quality, genetics-informed, clinical services - e.g. consultations, lab testing.
Define the long term product roadmap, specify the product requirements that will create the best user experience for our customers
Build cross-functional relationships and processes with other product managers, R&D, engineering, analytics, design, and marketing to drive initiatives
Define success metrics for, measure, and evaluate the impact of product efforts
Analyze and understand data, and leverage that understanding to make data-driven decisions
Understand the customer by collaborating with our consumer insights, product marketing and broader product teams
What You’ll Bring
8+ years experience in product management role
Experience with web and mobile app development practices
Laser-focus on crafting high quality products
Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization, from C-level to individual contributors
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to evangelize a compelling product vision to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire others
Note: Ability to work from 23andMe's office in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of 3 days per week
Strongly Preferred
Experience with consumer health and wellness
Experience in the laboratory diagnostics space
Understanding and passion for healthcare
Familiarity with UX and information architecture best practices
