**Job Description**

**AECOM** is actively seeking Transportation Project Director with TxDOT design experience, in PS&E or Schematics, for immediate employment in the San Antonio office.

**Job Description**

+ As Project Manager, manage all aspects of Schematic or PS&E plan preparation for roadway projects in accordance with TxDOT procedures.

+ Manage a support Team of engineers and technicians, some located remotely.

+ Determine work priorities based on general direction from supervisor.

+ Provide leadership for Team through knowledge in areas of specialization, coordinating work of others.

+ May lead on one or more Teams in the delivery of work efforts that are often complex.

+ Be involved in all project aspects from client meetings, design/study development.

+ Serve as Capture or Project Manager for key pursuits

+ Obtain AECOM project Manager certification

Other responsibilities are:

+ Responsible for the overall administration of the project and assist with establishing project objectives and policies.

+ Provides management and guidance to subordinate staff, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

+ Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

+ Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

+ 15+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects, including Schematic Development and/or PS&E

+ Professional Engineer (PE) in TX or Other states

+ Be team oriented

+ Experience designing highway/roadway systems

+ Experience with any of the following software: MicroStation, GEOPAK, or OpenRoads

+ Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project)

+ TxDOT Pre-certifications

+ Good communication skills

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $141,000.00 - $230,000.00.
