Based out of the Electrical Division Airport (EDA) location, the Lead Inventory Control will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor in the Production Control Department.
Essential Responsibilities
The Lead Inventory Control will be responsible for maintaining records of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of cycle count functions.
Utilize ABC analysis to determine the cycle count schedule.
Work on Oracle to analyze data and adjust discrepancies.
Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
Identifying, analyzing and addressing gaps in inventory processes.
Oversee root cause action items to ensure they're being followed.
Coordinate the cycle count and execute inventory accuracy at all times.
Tracking/auditing cycle counts to ensure performed correctly and promptly.
Execution of countermeasures to eliminate inventory errors.
Training designated department personnel on cycle count and filling out cycle count paperwork. - Sets and maintains replenishment for min/max parts.
Communicate with key stakeholders to identify material needs.
Plan and direct team resources in the successful execution of the work.
Audits inventory locations daily to ensure orders will arrive on time to meet production requirements.
When needed, load/unload material on trucks by physically moving parts, by hand, forklift, and crane securing loads when required.
Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings.
Ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
Ensure the work area remains clean and well organized.
Other duties as required.

Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.
A degree of creativity and latitude is required to perform the job effectively.
Qualifications Previous experience developing plans and forecasts to manage workload peaks.
3-5 years of experience coordinating all aspects of cycle count functions.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and techniques within inventory control.
Experience using Microsoft applications is required.
Previous experience in Oracle is considered an asset.
Working Conditions Safety sensitive position in a temperature-controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities.
Required to wear personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses and respirators) when required.
Must be able to work in a heated or cooled environment.
Must be able to work from all types of ladders (step ladders, "A" frame ladders, and all-size extension ladders).
Must be able to work on platforms up to 7 feet or more above ground.
Physical Requirements Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs.
Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner continuously.
Continuous standing, walking 5050-300-footistances for long periods of time with only occasional sitting.
Must lift or carry up to 50lbs. frequently or continuously.
Using upper extremities to frequently apply or exert a force (pushing and pulling) 50lbs-100lbs. -
Must operate self-powered equipment and withstand vibration.
Able to do repetitive hand work with both hands.
Frequently or continuously be able to look over both shoulders and work with both arms above and below shoulders.
