New Graduates
New registered nurse (RN) graduates' benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. The program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment, and promotes professional development.
The dialysis units at University and Methodist Hospitals are a part of our large Acute Inpatient Hemodialysis program. This program provides unit and bedside hemodialysis as well as CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) care. In total, we have 22 stations with 14 stations at Methodist, and 8 at our University location. The dialysis units operate in 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm. Dialysis does require one Saturday per pay period and offers periodic on-call flexibility with approximately 4 per 6-week schedule. The ideal RN for this role will have 1-2 years of experience in an acute hospital care setting, or previous dialysis experience.

Qualifications
* · Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.* · Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.* · Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.* · Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.* · Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
