We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our organization as the Director of Information Technology - Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing business applications across the entire company, ensuring the effective planning, development, implementation, and management of IT systems and business applications. The Director of IT will play a key role in aligning technology strategies with the overall business objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the organization's technology resources are optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology needs and opportunities for innovation
Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's business applications across multiple departments
Oversee the integration of business applications, ensuring seamless interoperability and data integrity
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
Possess expertise in the administration and optimization of Netsuite and other critical business applications
Develop and manage the IT spend, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines
Evaluate and recommend technology investments, with a focus on enhancing business application functionality
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and stay informed about industry trends
Specifically, manage relationships with Netsuite and other business application vendors to ensure optimal system performance

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in progressively responsible IT leadership roles
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and emerging technologies
Experience in the administration and optimization of Netsuite and other business applications
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and compliance standards
Experience with Zendesk a plus
Project management experience and certification (PMP, ITIL) is a plus
Other applications a plus (365, ERP, CRM etc.)
