Job Description Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Acting as a roll-up-your-sleeves "Player-Coach," you will manage a team to processes and procedures that are scalable and efficient to meet the company's needs.
Manage financial reporting preparation process and direct staff of accounting, with accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting duties.
Monthly, quarterly, and variance reporting on 50+ sets of books.
Assist with the operational accounting functions.
Oversee property management financials.
Collaborate with Leadership on new processes and procedures.
Act as an innovative and/or creative source to consider solutions to problems.
Establish banking relations and establishment of new bank accounts.
Manage cash management controls and systems.
Proactively follow up with clients regarding their inquiries about property financials and reporting metrics.
Work with lenders on quarterly and year-end reporting and capital draws.
Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers.
Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts and expenses.
Lead annual operating budget creation process for all properties and business unit
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs.
Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.
Develop Ad Hoc reports as needed.
Manage Construction and Lender cash draws
Manage property CAPEX schedules
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
YARDI accounting system experience is a must
Proficient understanding of financial duties in a residential real estate setting with an emphasis on Multifamily Property Management experience
Effective organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Accurate and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other associates and clients
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
