Location Requirements: This role is Hybrid to one of our offices: Austin, Malvern, or Naperville. Remote candidates will also be considered.
Your role on the team:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to join our dynamic sales team! This position is remote with travel in the assigned territory. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Sales Director role leads a team of sales professionals in positioning Frontline’s solution products and services to prospective K-12 school districts. This role enables the creation of long-term, consultative relationships with new and existing clients in the K-12 markets, partnering with School Districts and School Boards to influence the buying decision process.
Key Performance Objectives:
Management
Recruit, train, retain, and manage a high-performing Education Solutions Executive (ESE) team to exceed sales goals and objectives.
Act as an advisor/coach to the ESEs while maintaining a positive and motivational work environment.
Perform weekly One on One’s; quarterly territory reviews; and quarterly feedback sessions with each direct report; progressive or immediate corrective action as needed.
Ensure the team is building an accurate sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. Monitor performance to goals and ensure accountability within the sales team, as you are responsible for the team's monthly, quarterly, and annual team quota.
Provide assistance to your direct reports to close large, complex deals directly with senior client executives.
Sales Planning and Reporting
Building sales processes; creating and deciding on territory breakdowns, territory alignment, compensation plans, hiring, and career progression to achieve expected performance.
Develop sales tools and provide training to enable the sales team to be effective in the sales process.
Develop activity reporting and forecasting to provide weekly visibility of the team’s performance to goal.
Report your team’s metrics to the Sales Leadership and Executive Team.
Accurately forecast team booking on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Team Engagement
Collaborate internally across departments and cross-functionally with give and take to move the company's performance forward.
Responsible for the overall direction of the performance management process and professional goal alignment for the team and territory.
What you bring to the role:
Dedication and demonstrated leadership in high-quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, detail-oriented.
Experience within the K-12 or Higher Education markets is preferred, but not required.
This role requires:
5+ years of sales management experience; preferably within a SaaS model.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Proficiency in utilizing a CRM to manage selling activity, preferably Salesforce.com.
Proven experience managing field sales representatives to achieve team goals.
Strong selling, negotiating, and influencing skills and the ability to coach and train in a positive, effective manner.
Ability to travel 50% or as needed.
