AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Design Engineer for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Mossville, IL.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid.
Assignment Duration: 14 Months with possibility of extending.
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is between 24.25 - 27.25 hourly. Benefits include a Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k, as well as the option for Paid Time Off (dependent on amount requested).
Position Description:
Design Engineer to support component resourcing projects.
Activities to include: coordinating drawing changes and drawing releases with EDC-I team in India, developing DVP&Rs for the validation of the resourced components, coordinating specific validation steps in support of the DVP&R activities including metallurgical analysis, dimensional measurements, endurance testing, and performance testing.
Support product assembly for injectors and/or governors. Assist in prototype builds and prototype testing.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
2 - 4 years' experience.

Typical task breakdown:
Team meetings to discuss priorities and results.
Review and update project plans for sourcing projects.
Work with Met Lab and quality inspection to submit requests and review results.
Present results and conclusions in periodic team update meetings.

Daily interaction with team face to face and by Teams.
Work environment:
Office desk location, factory floor, and test area.
