BioTalent is delighted to be partnered with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company space based in Houston, Texas, United States and we are on the hunt for multiple brand-new Inventory Control Specialist's to join the team on a, long-term contract basis.
Required skills:
SAP, Microsoft Excel & Outlook, inventory systems experience
Able to communicate orally and written in a professional manor, highly organized and able to multi-task, ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment, and ability to work within a team.
The inventory coordinator is responsible for on time and accurate follow-up and Local procedures in their respective area. The main focus of the role is controlling, moving and reporting accurate amounts of inventory.
This is done by standard inventory processes including but not limited to SAP ERP, cycle counting, analyzing of queries and troubleshooting.
In the role you will:
Coordinates and manages the daily transfer of materials throughout the digital inventory system into Grade D cleanroom. Resolves any discrepancies found with the appropriate stakeholders.
Monitors and maintains accurate inventory levels to ensure that quantities that appear in the system are accurate. This includes being part of physical inventory cycle counts in the Grade D environment.
Analyzes and troubleshoots inventory issues in a timely fashion and keeps stakeholders informed.
Routinely monitors stock levels within SAP and corrects any inventory discrepancies for all common areas in Grade D.
Maintain general supplies and stock materials for daily usage by production team in the cleanroom environment. (stock gowning supplies, etc.)
Allocate materials to appropriate project using appropriate transaction code. May also complete job closures /inputs into the inventory management system, SAP or equivalent.
Schedule staging responsibilities and inventory management among peers and own confirmation of inventory for production.
Transfer of materials for production use. Wipe down materials for entry to the staging area and into the cleanroom suites.
Notifies manager or delegate of any observed deviations in a timely manner.
Notify and drive solution storage, solution disposal, trash disposal, and water collection on as needed basis according to cGMP compliance standards and SOPs.
