Membership Experience Manager

General Purpose:
Implements, markets, and evaluates all membership programs, special events, guest events and activities, and ensures exemplary service standards are delivered in all areas, including but not limited to: Golf Player Service areas, Boat House, Beach Club and other areas as required. Works closely with Club Management team and Resort events teams to execute membership programs and special events.
Essential Duties:
* Maintains and develops strong relationships with current and prospective members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction.
* Answers member and prospective member questions with accuracy and efficiency.
* Markets and promotes all events and programs relating to recreation and members via flyers, brochures, table tents, reader boards, emails, website, etc.
* Performs various administrative duties during Club events.
* Assists DOM in the preparation of monthly membership reports.
* Maintains equipment and guest supplies inventory and orders equipment/supplies needed for implementation of various programs.
* Maintains department calendar to include all (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) recreation activities, special events, theme nights, and holidays for Club website.
* Ensures proper care and maintenance of program and special event equipment, keep storage areas neat, clean, and all in safe working order.
* Works with Club Department heads to organize groups/outings that are taking place on a specific day and prepares staff and facility for these events.
* Assist in monitoring and policing all player service activity and etiquette. Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, and speed of play.
* Oversees Player Service to ensure proper preparation of golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf. Ensures proper staging of golf carts during the day. Ensure range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day is executed.
* Responsible for training, implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
* Assists Club Manager to develop budgets for and track revenue/expenses for all programs, special events, etc.
* Ensures that event orders (EO's) are completed by catering and distributed in a timely manner for event execution.
* Evaluates all programs, and special events. Reviews guests' comments and event concerns.
* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
* Regular and reliable attendance.
* Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (AA); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently uses hands. Regularly stands and sits. Occasionally walks, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls, tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, and near toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
CPR and First Aid Certification
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
* Expertise in social media platforms
* Experience in managing websites for event coordination and calendar listings preferred.
* Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. (Canva experience preferred)
