As an Azure AD Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures within our Azure AD environment. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that user identities are protected, access privileges are managed effectively, and security events and incidents are detected and responded to in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure AD security tools and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security measures to protect Azure AD identities and resources.
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Azure AD resources by managing access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Implement and monitor security policies, procedures, and guidelines to enforce compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Perform periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate any potential security risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop incident response plans and ensure that security events are effectively detected, investigated, and resolved.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure AD security trends, tools, and technologies and provide recommendations for improvements.
Train and educate employees on best practices for Azure AD security.
Must Have Skills and Experience:-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory concepts, including Azure AD premium features.
Experience with identity and access management (IAM) controls, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, privileged identity management (PIM), and identity governance.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, CIS, and ISO.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to Azure AD security.
Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, are highly desired.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
