This position is for a Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We welcome applicants at varying experience levels.

Responsibilities:

Working in a collaborative team environment

Work with a group designing the next generation software and hardware for satellite communications signal monitoring

Define, track and work on tasks that help the team drive to defined demos and checkpoints

Designing, coding, integrating, configuring, and testing software.

Collaborate with other disciplines including electrical engineering, firmware, and test.

Use your skills in Python and C++, message protocol interpretation, real time processing, test script development and use of agile processes working under minimal supervision

Conduct automated and manual testing of applications controlling integrated hardware and peripheral equipment while supporting/enhancing existing software products as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

College graduate with a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field

2+ years of experience PYTHON development

2+ years of experience C++ development

2+ years of experience with the Linux Operating system

Experience with version control tools such as SVN, GIT

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree a plus

Experience with real time systems

Experience with satellite communications and signal monitoring

Experience with the use of lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers

Experience wth the satellite groundstation equipment is a plus

Pay Range:  Colorado Pay Range: $88k to $105k.  Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
