Job Description:
We are looking for a hard-working professional with a passion for hospitality, strategic marketing and making business impact. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this position will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant marketing including, but not limited to brand positioning, advertising, promotions, market research, public relations, technology platforms, data analysis and budget management. Primary goals for success include: awareness of the brands, traffic to stores, membership acquisition/ retention and franchisee success/ support. This position must have a player/coach mentality and be willing to drive strategy while rolling up their sleeves to execute tactical plans.
Drive strategic membership acquisition & retention efforts
Develops and implements best-in-class messaging, driven by strong consumer insights
Manage brand marketing calendar to support events, store openings, promotions and social media content
Strategically lead & manage marketing agency partners
Manage & execute email marketing program and optimize to improve performance
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
Proof press releases and media alerts
Field local marketing requests from corporate stores and franchisees, track requests, project progress and communicate regularly back to stakeholders
Lead the process for creation and execution of corporate store marketing programs
Lead regular meetings with Franchisees and Corporate stores
Assist with onsite event execution as needed – occasional nights and/or weekends
Perform other duties as needed to support the marketing department and the company
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing + 6-8 years working in the field, or equivalent experience
Franchise marketing experience is required
Strong brand strategy and positioning experience
CRM and/ or loyalty experience is a strong plus
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate with executives
Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
Demonstrable experience with email marketing, platforms, lead generation and SEO
Experience in restaurant marketing preferred
Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
Outstanding communication skills
Deep understanding of marketing fundamentals and up-to-date with latest trends
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Tech savvy
