What you will be doing The Data Analyst I, Information Security is responsible for assisting in Information security assessments, running security analysis reports using commercial tools or custom scripts, and documenting gaps. TheData Analyst I, Information Securitysupport the coordination of all IT internal and external assessment components. They work on security initiatives/issues for assigned Information Security Strategy functional areas (e.g., Cyber Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Forensics, Vulnerability Management, Data Analytics). They also assist with the development and delivery of security awareness and compliance training programs.
Assists in Information security assessments, and runs security analysis reports using security tools
Assists in business impact analysis (BIA) to ensure resources are adequately protected with proper security measures
Follows up on deficiencies identified in monitoring reviews, self-assessments, automated assessments, and internal and external audits to ensure that appropriate remediation measures have been taken
Updates and maintains documentation for a global risk framework
Captures, maintains, and monitors information security risk in one repository and generate ad-hoc and routine reports
Checks existing accounts and data access permission requests against documented authorizations
Analyzes business processes and business requirements to determine conformance to security policies and procedures
Collaborates with multiple teams to resolve issues found by various internal and third-party monitoring tools and provides status updates to information security teams
Supports Analysts II/III in guiding users on the usage and administration of security tools that control and monitor information security
Performs security monitoring by inspecting security logs to uncover possible security violations
Gathers and tracks information security metrics for review by senior management
Assists in the development of security awareness and compliance training programs
Assists in application security risk assessments for new or updated internal or third-party applications, analyzes the generated reports and document gaps
Participates in incident response exercises and leverage the lessons learnt to respond to security alerts
What your background should look like Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Zero (0) to two (2) years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in information security.
Strong Problem Solving skillsets

Microsoft Office Suite
