The FP&A Analyst has the opportunity to work directly with senior managers of the firm and make a difference in the financial outcomes of the organization. As an FP&A expert, you will play an important role in the Finance Department. Your responsibilities will include providing financial insights and projections to the finance team and various business partners. You will engage in analysis important for decision-making and planning. This is a hybrid role.
You will –
Help prepare Executive and Board of Directors financial packages that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisionsto be made
Provide support to others on the Finance team related to revenue, expenses, and general financial metrics in a timely manner
Assist with preparing revenue and expense accruals, and providing P&L variance explanations to budget and forecasts
Assist in critical aspects of billing and consolidated reporting responsibilities
Prepare elements of budgets and forecasts, variance analyses, long-term planning, and risk/opportunity assessments
Identify areas for revenue opportunities and cost improvements
Work closely with different departments of the firm in understanding their business, supporting their initiatives, and general financial inquiries
Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year
Track historical data for long term reporting and analytics
You are –
Someone with a high level of commitment to ethics, privacy, integrity, and compliance
Experienced in developing financial reports and metrics
Able to adapt to changing, fast-paced environment
Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Possessing superb attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple contending priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
Someone with demonstrated ability to communicate well with others through effective verbal and written communication
We want –
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Business, Finance related preferred)
3+ years of financial reporting/analytics experience
General knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals
Familiarity with Accounting tools such as NetSuite or MS Dynamics 365
Database experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and extracting and joining data across various systems of record
Excellent Excel, Word, and Powerpoint skills
Experience developing financial reports and metrics
