Job Summary

We are seeking an Construction Engineer to join TYLin's PMCM Sector.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Abide by and enforce construction safety rules and regulations.

Read and understand contract documents, including plans and specifications.

Assist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.

Assure general compliance with standards and specifications.

Accurately track change order payments.

Log and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project.

Prepare monthly pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate.

Log and manage project submittals, RFI's and correspondence.

Create meeting agendas and minutes; distribute and file to relative attendees.

Review and file project daily reports.

Prepare construction closeout documents.

Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.

Professional licensure in the District of Columbia required. Professional Engineering License in another State is acceptable only if ability to acquire a DC PE within 6 months.

At least 6+ years of experience in the inspection of bridge and roadway construction projects.
