Contractor Services Coordinator

The Contractor Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, deployment, and daily workflow of the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) projects as well as developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Communicates with purchasing, warehouse, operations, and customers on specific details and needs of each project.
Maintains and assists our VMI process both internally with sales and operations and with our customers.
Coordinates customer jobsite expectations with Sales and Operations through initial jobsite visit and ongoing communication with customer jobsite contact.
Maintains working knowledge of all operating systems that Loeb Electric utilizes to help manage a customer’s project.
Sets up projects in the appropriate operating system once a sale is secured.
Verifies data and order accuracy between Loeb Electric and our customers operating systems before a project starts.
Assists the Sales Support and Jobsite Support Specialists with the setup of cages or Conex’s before they ship out to the customer.
Participates in set up and kick-off meetings as needed.
Takes the lead in training the customer on software as needed.
Facilitates training sessions and/or cycle counts to keep the VMI process running smoothly.
Assists with developing a standard operating procedure and training for all VMI type projects.
Assists with educating customers and jobsite contacts on the VMI process to ensure a successful program.
Ensures accuracy of the orders and receivables coming in and out of our VMI software and Eclipse.
Communicates with operations, sales, and our customer to ensure shipment of specified materials to the project and that overall schedules are being maintained.
Responds promptly to customer inquiries and provides solutions timely.
Processes returns and credits through to completion and participates in counts as needed to ensure correct data.
Compiles project closeout documents in timely manner.
Participates in meetings at customer or vendor locations as needed.
Participates in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal, product and system knowledge.
Performs daily system maintenance, reviews queues for unbilled sales orders, open transfers, and receivables.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills/Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year in a customer service or jobsite inventory control position. Prior working experience in an inventory control role.
Experience in the electrical industry or prior working knowledge of a VMI operating program preferred.
Computer skills including MS Word and Excel required.
