Responsibilities:
We are looking for a versatile treasury or accounting professional to lead treasury operations and build upon our treasury function. You will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for providing support and strategy for all of Verkada’s treasury operations. The role requires analytical thinking, strategic decision making, and collaboration with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. This role reports to the VP of Finance and will have significant engagement with the executive leadership team.
Liaise with a growing network of domestic and international banking partners to make decisions on products and services.
Manage bank account administration, including opening and closing bank accounts, maintaining bank signer records, and serving as a bank portal administrator.
Collaborate closely with Strategic Finance and Executive Teams to ensure cash forecasts are accurate and funds are available as needed.
Participate in ensuring accurate and timely month end, quarter end and year-end accounting close activities, including being a key point of contact for provided-by-client annual audit requests.
Partner closely with accounting and Fin Ops on global intercompany funding.
Oversee Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee programs.
Provide treasury expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams such as AP, Payroll, Tax, and Finance Operations.
Assist in maintaining, monitoring, and improving a best-in-class set of operational policies to ensure a robust, internal controls environment.
Oversee all aspects of the Company’s global insurance program.
Own and/or provide support for a variety of operations-related tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills are essential for this position.
Experience working independently and driving processes to conclusion.
Strong business acumen with ability to approach complex problems and solve them from start to finish.
Familiarity with global payments, liquidity management, and cash and risk management solutions.
