Lubrizol is currently looking for an experienced **Finance Partner, Future Transportation & Planning**. In this role, you will provide actionable, value-creating financial insights and be a strategic partner to the Senior Director of Driveline & Future Mobility as well as the Future Transportation & Planning leadership team. This role will be based out of our Global Headquarters, in Wickliffe, OH.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Understand business strategic direction and assist in goal setting with the leadership team

* Actively participate in the strategic planning process

* Work with the commercial team on sales proposals, rebates/royalties, product pricing and contract reviews.

* Report, monitor, interpret, and evaluate financial results / profitability of Driveline, eMobility and Custom Solutions businesses and product lines

* Liaison with Operations Finance and Plant Accountants to understand the financial impact of manufacturing spend, L&O rates, variances, and material scrap/write-offs

* Assist in the coordination, development, and analysis of the annual plan, interim and long-range forecasts

* Monitor direct technical spend in alignment with annual budget

* Support complexity reduction initiatives, 80/20 analyses, strategic framework and rolling trajectory

* Perform financial analysis on strategic projects, including capital investments opportunities as needed

* Drive efficiencies in financial reporting and analyses across business units

* Ensure a strong finance control environment exists and is aligned with corporate policies

* Support and promote a safe work environment

* Additional duties or special projects as assigned

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**

* Bachelors degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university

* 7 -10 years experience in accounting or finance preferred

* Technical skills and experience in GAAP accounting, financial modeling, and financial analysis concepts

* Strong team player with excellent cross-functional abilities

* Self-starter and multi-tasker who takes initiative

* Organizational and time management skills necessary

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proven ability to present and communicate financial information in a concise manner, through one-on-one meetings as well as written and formal presentations

* Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerBi, and PowerPoint

* Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively with other departments

* Occasional travel as necessary less than or equal to 10%

**Considered a Plus**

* CPA and/or MBA or equivalent

* Previous finance partnering experience

* Proficiency in SharePoint, or advanced Excel functions
